2 Chainz is a rapper, songwriter, basketball player, and media personality from the United States. He is best known as one half of the Southern hip hop duo “Playaz Circle,” which he formed with fellow rapper and longtime friend Earl “Dolla Boy” Conyers.
He released his debut studio album “Based on a T.R.U. The story” on August 14, 2012, which included three successful singles certified Gold or higher, and the album being certified Gold by the R.I.A.A.

2 Chainz was born on September 12, 1977, in College Park, Georgia. He went to North Clayton High School, where he played basketball and graduated second in his class. Furthermore, he was arrested when he was 15 for felony cocaine possession because he was dealing with marijuana. He later attended Alabama State University on a scholarship and played basketball for the school from 1995 to 1997.

On November 15, 2017, the first episode of the television series “Most Expensive” aired on Viceland. The series follows 2 Chainz as he visits various locations offering the “most expensive” goods and services.
