Celebrities and athletes alike hit the links at Baha Mar’s Jack Nicklaus signature Royal Blue Golf Course to support the Turn 2 Foundation at this year’s Derek Jeter Invitational (DJI) for competitive golf followed by special events held throughout the resort, benefitting the Turn 2 Foundation and its programs serving youth. The 2023 DJI kicked off Thursday, May 11, with a welcome reception at Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop House featuring a live set by DJ D-Nice. During the special event, The Turn 2 Foundation presented a $50,000 donation to the Baha Mar Resort Foundation, which will support Baha Mar’s projects and investments within the Bahamian community. On Friday, May 12, the two-round celebrity-amateur tournament, which paired one celebrity with four amateur participants, kicked off at the 18-hole Royal Blue Golf Course followed by a competitive celebrity shootout and continued on Saturday, May 13. The spectacular DJI Gala capped off the weekend’s events at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center – complete with a star-studded red carpet and live musical performance from Grammy award-winning artist Busta Rhymes. During the gala, Wagoneer presented The Turn 2 Foundation with a donation of $500,000. The festivities concluded on Sunday, May 14, with a celebrity round of golf at Royal Blue
